From Sinners to Saints

1 Corinthians 6:9-11

About the Sermon

Change dominates our minds and hearts at the outset of a new year. Whether it be our resolutions for the future or our reflections on the past, we resonate with those timeless words of John Newton uttered near the end of his life—“I am not what I ought/want/hope to be . . .” Since the change we long for so regularly evades us, we can often be tempted to give up hope. Yet, in our text for this sermon, Paul will share with us the Spirit-inspired solution to bringing about the change we so desperately seek. This sermon features guest preacher, Justin Harris, from Naples, Florida, where he has served as lead pastor at Faith Bible Church since 2016. He and his wife, Tonya, have three children.

About the Series

Our normal course of preaching is to work through books of the Bible. However, from time to time we take a break from this pattern and preach a single sermon from another part of the Bible. Here are some of those sermons, including sermons from guest preachers.
