To Reach Our Neighbors
Sharing the gospel with our friends, family, and neighbors
We gather to worship, and we scatter with the gospel that Christ might be worshiped among our neighbors, co-workers, friends, and family. We do a few big-church events a year, but the main way we reach our community is by speaking the gospel with our neighbors.
Prioritizing life-on-life evangelism
The church’s strategy for reaching our community is to spread out during the week for one-on-one relationships.
Equipping the church for evangelism
We want to help every member share the gospel with clarity and confidence.
Elevating the reputation of Jesus in our community
We convey the gospel with our words, but we commend it with our life as a church and our good works in the community.
Opportunities
One-to-One Bible Reading
Because God does his work in the world through his Word, we love to read the Bible with our neighbors over coffee or lunch. This exercise allows us to see and share the beauty of Christ found in his Word with the people we would like to reach.
Sunday Host Ministry
We never know what brings people our way, but we love to welcome them with joy and warmth because Christ has welcomed us for the glory of God (Rom. 15:7). We open our doors, our hearts, and our lives to those who come our way.
Christianity Explored
The gospel according to Mark shows us who Jesus is, why he came, and what we should think about him. This is the message we want everyone to hear. Christianity Explored is a discussion group that allows seekers and believers alike to learn more about the Savior who came and walked among us.
Trunk or Treat
We’d like our surrounding community to know we’re here and we care. We love to leverage holidays and community events to form connections with our neighbors in the hopes of forging some new and fruitful friendships.
Local Gospel Ministry Partners
These are ministries in our community which are strategically meeting the needs of men and women in crisis. They do so for the sake of the gospel and we’re glad to support and serve alongside them, and refer others to them. These include: Miracle Hill Ministries and Piedmont Women’s Center.
