Walk Warmly with God

There’s a man named Enoch near the beginning of the Bible’s story. Moses records this beautiful summary of his life, “Enoch walked with God, and he was not, for God took him” (Gen. 5:24). More than a beautiful summary of his life, this simple description instructs us in Genesis 5:21–32.
A Staggering Promise that Lasts Forever

2 Samuel 7 captures an undeserving promise made to an undeserving man that would change an undeserving world. God made a promise to David in 2 Samuel 7, a promise that he would one day keep to the Son of David at the cross. Βehold, the beauty of a promise—a staggering promise that lasts forever. In this sermon, Brad Baugham preaches for us from this important chapter of Scripture. Brad is the Lead Pastor at Emmanuel Bible Church, a sister church planted by Heritage in 2006.
Final Peace for Failing Followers

“Behold, the hour is coming, indeed it has come, when you will be scattered, each to his own home, and will leave me alone. Yet I am not alone, for the Father is with me” (John 16:32). As John wrote these words as an eyewitness some decades later, the scene would playback for him like a final recorded voicemail from long ago. It’s a haunting message. It comes the night Jesus was killed. Jesus gives a final sobering prediction about the failure of his friends. Yet it’s also a hopeful message. Their failure will not be final, because his death will not be final.
Singing and Celebrating His Steadfast Love

Sometimes we need a Psalm. This is one of those times. Psalm 33 gives us something to do: “Shout for joy in the LORD, O you righteous! Praise befits the upright” (1). It also gives us a reason: “For the word of the LORD is upright, and all his work is done in faithfulness. He loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of the steadfast love of the LORD” (4, 5).
Entrusting the Gospel for Gospel Advance

In this sermon we will hear from the Word of God on how the Gospel advances.
The Good and Just God

Listen in to learn about the good and just God who repays sin, restores his people, and enables faithfulness. The book of Jonah displays God’s mercy toward Nineveh while about 100 years later Nahum displays God’s justice toward Nineveh. God is faithful to always do what is right.
The God Who Roars for Justice and Worship

Listen in to hear about the two things which God demands: worship and justice.
