The Power We Need

Ephesians 6:10-18

About the Sermon

When you are confronted with an overwhelming situation or a powerful enemy, it’s easy to be paralyzed. “I don’t know what to do. I can’t get through this. I’m not strong enough.” Coming from our last sermon in this series, we could be discouraged by considering the odds we’re up against. So we need help. We need strength. We need power to resist this enemy who is so much stronger than us. But where does that power come from, and how do we access it? Hear the Word unfold with us to find out.

About the Series

The Armor of God carries a double meaning. Most people think that this is the armor which God gives to us to resist the devil, which is true. However, the other (primary) meaning is that this is actually God’s armor which He wore to fight for and win our salvation. Because of our union with Christ, we as His people are now clothed in His armor, strengthened with His might, protected by His power, and carried by His Spirit to resist the schemes of our adversary.
